How to Make Cajun Potato Fries

Personally, I love potato fries. They’re filling, satisfying, and feel indulgent when you eat them because they’re just like french fries but, ours are without all the grease and added fat.  But they’re delicious!

In the video below, Casey shows you how to prepare Cajun Potato Fries from start to finish and shares the recipe below.  Don’t forget to comment below and let us know what you think.

Cajun Potato Fries

Serves: 4

4 small russet potatoes

1 t salt

1 t cajun seasoning

  1. Preheat the brolier in your oven to “low” and move your oven rack to the highest setting.
  2. Rinse and scrub russet potatoes; pat dry.
  3. Cut potato in half length-wise, then slice each half into wedges. It’s important to make your wedges uniform in size so they cook evenly.
  4. Add potato wedges to a medium size bowl and season with salt and cajun seasoning.   Toss to coat.
  5. Place potato wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and spread the potatoes so you have one layer. Place on the top rack of your oven and bake for 15-17 minutes, until browned.  Check frequently as to not burn.
  6. Remove from oven and serve.

*Note: You can use any spices you like here: salt and pepper, rosemary, garlic, paprika, etc.

** We love dipping these in ketchup, different types of mustards, dressing, salsa or sprinkling vinegar on-top.
